Balayage in Leander, painted by hand
Soft, sun-kissed, dimensional color with no harsh regrowth line — so it grows out beautifully and looks natural from day one. At Hair by Karina, a one-chair studio in Leander, every balayage is hand-painted and customized to your hair. Cómodo en inglés y español.
Balayage, foilayage & baby lights — what's the difference?
All three are dimensional color techniques; the right one depends on how bright you want to go and how much maintenance fits your life. In a quick consultation, Karina helps you choose.
Balayage
Freehand-painted color for a soft, lived-in blend. The lowest-maintenance way to add brightness and dimension.
Foilayage
Balayage painted into foils for extra lift — the route to brighter, cooler blondes while keeping a natural blend.
Baby lights
Fine, delicate highlights woven through for subtle, all-over brightness that's especially flattering up top and around the face.
Who balayage is for
It's a favorite for first-time color clients who want a natural result, for lived-in blondes, and for brunettes who want dimension without a hard line to keep up with. Because it grows out gracefully, it suits busy schedules — you're not tied to a touch-up every few weeks.

What to expect
Every appointment starts with a consultation so Karina understands your hair history and the result you're after. A balayage service typically includes painting, processing, a toner or gloss to perfect the tone, and a finish style — when you book on Booksy, the estimated time for your service is shown so you can plan your day. To keep your color fresh, most clients return about every 3–4 months, often with a gloss in between; Karina will map a maintenance plan to your hair.
